Hello!
Wednesday,
August 3rd marks my one-year anniversary at my office job. My
days here are spent sitting at my desk, staring at my computer for 8 hours.
LITERALLY that is All. I. Do. I need an outlet while I’m at work or I might
just loose myself to boredom.
To make my office job more interesting I am going to start this blog. Hopefully writing posts and thinking of content will help give me a purpose and a sense of accomplishment every day. The name of my blog, “Carondelet & Co”, was inspired by the location of my office building, between St. Charles Avenue and Carondelet Street, and the amazing view of downtown New Orleans that can be seen from our windows. My job may be boring but the view is not!
I am no writer nor am I a photographer, but I am hoping this will encourage me to get out and appreciate my city more. No offense to any other cities but New Orleans is better.
